Bev Leader's "hand-y" work

Ah, esteemed Store Designer for Whole Foods Market, Bev Leader took care of the Bishops Corner remodel, down to the handwriting the aisle signs with a Chalk Ink~! Leave it to super Bev to handle Wedding Planning and execution and then turn around and complete a store remodel! That's gold medal worthy!

Oh we love Bubba Gumps!

Here is a sweet piece from Tracy at the Long Beach location. Oh why do they not have these in Texas! I will tell you, that when we are in Florida we LOVE 1) The Shrimper's Net Catch steamed in beer with ' aromatic Bubba's garlic spice' AND the 'secret Cajun recipe". We LOVE this and lick the last bits of sauce and seasoning with our fingers. If you have a Gumps you must go! Oh, and please admire their chalk signs too! "My Jen-ny!!". Good job Erin & Eric!

A quick trip out to LA and a show at Track 16 Gallery in Santa Monica. It turns out a film maker Anilyn's sister works with was an old friend with Mr Tatoo himself. If we are lucky, we will get to see some of his art in Chalk Ink® soon! It was a great show of his artwork (including ceramics!). Also there was an awesome show of Pinstrippers from Japan "Kustom Japan", who left with AutoChalk to try out. Incrediline Murals

http://wallpapernews.com/

As featured in WallpaperNews, Incrediline is a company whose surface material is easy to install and works well with Chalk Ink® Markers. One of the areas they are looking into is reducing children's exposure to toxic chemicals by having surfaces that can be written on with non-toxic tools (like Chalk Ink®) and crayons. They can also do custom murals. Check out their site below to see what other great things they can do!

Over the Weekend- WFF and NRA

Here's Danielle in Chicago at The National Restaurant Association Show- The NRA. Always keeping up to date on the latest in marketing to the food industry, Danielle also networked with her associates of the WFF- The Women's Foodservice Forum. Chalk Ink® Markers started as a marketing tool for grocery stores and coffee shop signage. It's dust free, non-smearing nature made it perfect for a food environment. Plus with it's great colors, many signmakers have been able to produce great artwork- as featured on this blog. There was also a candy show that she attended (thus the M&M and JellyBelly shots).

'FEED 100 Bag'

On Thursday May 8th at the Whole Foods Market™ in Austin Texas, Lauren Bush, co-founder and CEO of Feed Projects, along with her business partner, friends and family, stopped by to launch her new FEED 100 bag. The design is a convenient pouch that unzips into a shopping bag. So smart! The end purpose of the bag is to provide millions of school meals to the children of Rwanda. We at Chalk Ink® love this idea. Stop by your local Whole Foods Market™ and pick up yours. You will do good in two ways: cutting down on plastic and paper bags and feeding children who may otherwise not have a meal!
